WEILER

April 7, 2016

Weiler sought Metaline’s display design and production expertise when looking to create a modular display system for merchandising the various Weiler products in different retail outlets. This modular system would allow Weiler the option to order various component parts from Metaline in order to create numerous display combinations.

Metaline set out to devise the best solution for mixing merchandise and optimally displaying the varying sizes of Weiler’s grinding discs. In accordance with this goal, we devised a display with movable pegs and also shelves with the space to display anywhere from three to eight wheels at a time.

Metaline made our initial presentation to Weiler in their Pennsylvania headquarters where we showcased our initial concept renderings via a physical board, slideshow presentation, and sample chips to demonstrate finishes. Following this presentation, our team then worked in conjunction with the client’s specifications to produce a prototype showcasing the various combinations of shelves, bins, and ways to peg products. Constructed with visible welds to highlight the raw, industrial look of the display, the end result was a powder coated steel and wire system that can be used together or separately along with inline options and counter display.
